BIOGRAPHY

Avi Gomberg is a partner with Gomberg Dalfen having founded his own immigration law firm in 1992 and formed the partnership with Seth Dalfen in 2000. The firm and Avi focus exclusively on immigration related matters and clients include foreign individuals and Canadian employers. Assistance is provided in the relocation to Canada of executives, businesspeople and skilled professionals.

Avi’s two decades of experience in the field and his passion for the domain of Immigration law have made him a successful, passionate and compassionate advocate on behalf of his clients including many multinational corporations and skilled foreigners.

Avi has authored numerous articles, spoken at conferences and moderated panels on various immigration topics (including Canadian temporary work permits, challenges faced when an applicant has medical or criminal difficulties and the Canadian and Quebec permanent residence immigration programs).

Obtained immigration work permit approvals for numerous multinational and information technology corporations in need of executive, managerial and specialized knowledge employees.

Successfully obtained Temporary Resident Permits and Rehabilitation for individuals normally inadmissible to Canada due to past transgressions with the law.

Strategized and expeditiously obtained Canadian permanent residence status for many foreigners through the Quebec immigration program and the Canadian immigration program.

Presentations to the legal community at professional conferences organized by the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
